Get Banded Like A Bird

Saturday - Sunday
Meet at Chico Masonic Family Center

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will have a mist-netting specialist roving the area with hopes of catching some kids at the Snow Goose Festival. Once netted, kids will be banded just like a bird and learn firsthand what that experience is like. They will then be released back to the wild and we hope that the birders attending the event will be able to spot them by their unique bands and report back to the BLM about their sightings.
