We are very fortunate to live in one of the most uniquely diversified wildlife corridors in the world, the Sacramento Valley region of the Pacific Flyway. This region is home to exemplary migratory bird habitat and abundant wintering waterfowl, as well as native raptors and varied terrestrial wildlife. To celebrate this incredible winter festival, we invite you come experience the sights and sounds of the migratory season for two full weeks of special events, adventurous field trips, educational presentations and workshops. It is an experience of a lifetime! To start off, we will begin with our extended Art Show exhibit. This exhibit starts on January 19 and ends February 4. Furthermore, we have added a first-time-ever two-day field trip for serious birders that will precede the full schedule of weekend activities. These are just two examples of our latest effort to fulfill our mission to increase public awareness, understanding, appreciation and conservation of the diverse wildlife and unique habitats of the northern Sacramento Valley.
