Fly Away Home. Director Carroll Ballard returns to the form of his classic The Black Stallion with this heartwarming, stunningly photographed tale about a father and daughter who train a flock of abandoned geese to follow their ultralight planes from Canada to a winter home in North Carolina.

Amy (Anna Paquin) is reunited with her father (Jeff Daniels) after her mother’s death. She withdraws from her new life until she finds a reason to participate in something: the preservation, parenting, and eventual migration-instruction of a flock of orphaned geese.
